Volunteer Experience
Friday Night Live - Teaming Up for St. Jude - September 2024 - Present
- My all-star cheerleading team was selected to be 1 of 25 level 6 worlds teams to showcase our love and passion for cheer while giving back and fighting to end childhood cancer. Each team selected by Varsity was set out to fundraise on behalf of St. Jude in any way we chose to. As a whole, we collected $251,000 between fundraisers and ticket sales to watch us perform in Atlanta Georgia, the night before the biggest all-star cheerleading competition in the world, otherwise known as Cheersport.
HOPE Sports - Cheerleading Clinics - February 2023 - February 2025
- Teach local kids who wouldn’t normally get the chance to try cheer, the basics of cheerleading and the importance of moving your body.
Toys for Tots - December 2020 - December 2024
- Once a week in December, I sort and pick toys at the Toys for Tots Warehouse in Urbandale, Iowa to be picked up by local Toys for Tots distribution centers in the Des Moines area and then I assist with toy distribution at Toys for Tots pick up day at the Evelyn K. Davis Center in Des Moines, Iowa the week of Christmas
Leukemia & Lymphoma Socity - Student of the Year Campaigns - September 2021 - April 2023
- Raised Money and Awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through online fundraising campaigns.
- Planned and Executed Local Events to Raise Awareness and to Honor the “Honored Hero” of the year (ALL proceeds went to LLS)
