Consulting and Community Relations

Consultant at The Brinn Group:The Brinn Group consults various non-profit and for-profit companies. Some of our consulting and community relations work includes developing plans to gain community support and Community Board notification for development projects and developing and implementing marketing and public relations plans. The Brinn Group Consultants help organizations develop healthy relationships with the community.

Hotel Association of New York City Asylum Monitoring Program

Working with the City of New York and the Hotel Association on the Asylum program by monitoring clients who arrived at Hotel Association contracted Hotels. This project required consistent monitoring of who arrived at each hotel and verifying clients who had checked out. Reporting any issues or complaints from the hotel staff and submitting them to the City.

• Provided direct and indirect instructional support to children from birth to three years of age.
• Implemented strategies and created programs to help the children reach their IFSP goals.
• Supported families in creating daily schedules for their child.
• Created activity plans to meet the IFSP goals of the children I worked with.
• Created individualized social stories to help families communicate with children and to help them meet their individualized goals.
• Completed daily session notes on students’ progress.
• Created and wrote detailed narratives for progress reporting.
• Collaborated and planned with other service providers so that there was consistency during each session.
• Communicated with families in both English and Spanish.

• After a change in structure, continued to plan for math and science for the grade, but began teaching all subject areas.
