Instructional Leadership

· Led the math department to achieve significant growth in Level 4 performance on the GMAS for 8th grade, increasing from 25.4% in 2019 to 64% in 2024.

· Consistently achieved 100% content mastery, with students attaining Level 3-4 proficiency on the Algebra End-of-Course assessment.

· Redesigned the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process to improve efficiency and better address student needs.

· Facilitated an increase in Level 4 proficiency in ELA across all grade levels, improving from 29.8% in 2019 to 37.3% in 2024.

· Developed and implemented a literacy block (R/ELA) for intensive reading instruction, incorporating prescriptive Lindamood-Bell methods, decoding and vocabulary instruction, targeted SDI in reading and writing, and student-focused data talks and goal setting, resulting in two students achieving over 200% growth in iReady after the first semester of the Academy this school year.


Culture and Climate

· Achieved a reduction in students reporting 'disagree' or 'strongly disagree' to the statement 'I feel like I belong at WBMS,' decreasing from 7% in 2021 to 4% in 2024.

· Achieved recognition as a Distinguished PBIS School for three consecutive years through the successful implementation of positive behavior interventions and supports.

· Revised the school vision statement and established core values by incorporating input from the School Governance Council, as well as student, staff, and parent focus groups and surveys, to align with the school's current goals and growth areas.

· Developed and implemented a Responding to Disrespect Protocol, leading to a 33% reduction in office referrals and demonstrating long-term impact with 77.5% of ISS/OSS referrals showing no repeat offenses.


Community and Stakeholder Collaboration

· Successfully secured $123,290 in Seed Funding for the Compass Advisory Program through collaboration with the School Governance Council

· Collaborated with the School Governance Council and PTA to secure funding and implement the WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Leaders program, establishing it as a model for Alpharetta High School's LINK Crew initiative

· Co-Founder of the We Have Decided Youth Wellness and Leadership Summit, collaborating with building leaders and School Governance Councils from four area middle schools to promote youth wellness and leadership development
