My job history is short, but please do NOT let that fool you. I have raised 8 amazing kids (2 with autism), worked on school boards, coached soccer, volunteered for numerous organizations doing everything from social media to fundraising to being a director. Prior to getting married, I was the youngest person (at the time...age 18) to become a full-time store manager for BP Oil (gas station/convenience store)...I even made the cover of their corporate magazine. I worked there from age 15 until I got married at age 21. Years later, I went back to work in Ocean City, MD as an Administrative Assistant to the hotel General Manager (Coconut Malorie & Fager's Island) and worked there for almost 3 years. I did all the clerical work, worked the front desk doing reservations, worked with hotel staff...I LOVED that job, but another baby and I decided to stay at home for good. Now, my children are grown, for the most part (youngest is 15) so I am ready to find, not just a job, but something I can do until I'm too old to do it anymore! I am currently the Fundraising Coordinator for Raices Cyber Org (my husband's non-profit) but I have enough staff that I only have to dedicate a couple hours per week to that position (and it helps, I do it from home) so now it's time to find a career for myself. I have always been told I am amazing with people. I have a ton of empathy, patience and I have been told I am excellent at de-escalating situations (especially disgruntled customers). Everything I do, I do with passion! I am a very fast learner, I am very flexible and can handle just about anything that comes my way. I am hoping a company will see past my short work history and see ME and what I am capable of being NOW! Thank you for your consideration.
