Compassionate and purpose-driven chaplain with a unique foundation in public health, disability advocacy, special education, and interfaith spiritual care.
Over a decade of experience supporting children, families, and caregivers—particularly in moments of crisis and transition—has deepened my commitment to providing holistic, trauma-informed, and inclusive care. My path to chaplaincy was shaped by personal loss and a profound calling to accompany others through end-of-life experiences. I hold a Certificate in Interreligious Chaplaincy from the Graduate Theological Union (2024) and am completing a full-time Clinical Pastoral Education residency at Stanford Medical Center (four units, completion August 2025). As a Muslim with roots in Christianity and a deep commitment to an expansive and inclusive Islamic spirituality, I am pursuing ecclesiastical endorsement through Muslims for Progressive Values and charting my course toward Board Certification. I bring a grounded, interfaith presence to end-of-life care, honoring the dignity, grief, and meaning-making of every individual and family I serve.
