As a central sterile tech, I am in charge of making sure everyone works in a timely manner while still following protocols. I’m in charge of keeping up with paperwork and new standards per joint commission. I work with venders to make sure all there neees are met. I put in work orders and make sure everything is working properly. I correspond with our liaison when OR instruments are broke or missing. I keep up with inventory stock and order when items when low. We do everything from start to finish on cleaning and disenfecting.
