1. First visit with us. Patient was very nervous,blood pressure was elevated. I took the time to listen to his concerns. Spent time just chatting about life, explained to him what we were doing and what would happen next.
2. Patient was going through a tough time in his life. I called him the next day to check on him as I was concerned. He stated he felt better as I always put a smile on his face.
3. Patient has VEXAS. His prognosis is grim. He stated I made him very comfortable and was very apprciative of all the extra I do to make sure he continues to get his disability through his employer. He stated this element of professionalism is seldom seen anymore in today's business world.
