Circulating nurse in an outpatient surgery center. Duties included circulating in the operating room and pain injection cases, pre-op patients prior to surgery including assisting anesthesia with nerve blocks, and recovering patients in PACU ensuring patients were safely recovered prior to discharge and provided education on post-op care. In addition, other duties as assigned including Quality Improvement audits, data entry of surgical documentation, member of the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement.

Circulating nurse duties in hospital setting for surgical procedures including: general, orthopaedic, Macey assisted robotic orthopaedic, OB-GYN, vascular, urology, DaVinci assisted robotic surgical cases, pediatric dental procedures.
