- I have been volunteering in my children's school-Pierce-Hamic Elementary for aprox the last six year My daughter has began middle school- but my son, Anthony is still attending at this school- He is in he third grade this year
- I began as a room parent volunteer- and I loved helping copy papers and homework for the teachers- and in the classroom and the media center-and I always volunteered to accompany the students on any field trips that needed another parent to attend
- I then became active in the PTA/PTO where I loved helping in the event planning and organization of events for the students and families, and I also became active in SAC program, strong points being to listen, collaborate and assist in the vote process among teachers and staff and assisting in this process for the school was a great pleasure and I hope to seek a position that will allow me to continue to assist and be helpful in any way needed for the school staff and the teachers, as well as the students It is my hope to ab;le to grow into a position that will allow me to serve the school in any way possible and to be considered for a position that I can flourish and help in anyway needed, as I do love the teachers and staff, and I hope to become a guidance counselor , as that is a passion of mine and I love to be able to help kids have an ally to know they can talk to me and confide in me, so that if possible, I can help to direct them toward make a good decision for themselves and to help them to feel safe and secure in their school environment
