Carolina Baldin

I am a Brazilian lawyer transitioning to journalism. During the five years I spent writing and reviewing memos and petitions related to corruption, public policy and different public services in Brazil, I learned to research industries that were new to me on a tight deadline. I also became curious about a wide range of subjects. When I joined the MSJ program at the Medill School in 2022, this curiosity informed both my reporting as a student and the editing I did as a fellow at the Medill Reports website.
