Carolina Espinosa

Assistant coach for the Under 12 Girls Far Post Club team based in Essex Junction, Vermont. I work under the head coach, helping develop soccer skills and knowledge in young aspiring female soccer players as well as gaining confidence in themselves and challenging them to become better players.

Community Friends is an organization for kids ages 6-12 to be matched with a student at the college in a mentor-mentee program. Most of the children in the program come from challenging family environments and/or low socio-economic situations where many of the families can’t guarantee three meals for their kids every day. Early 2022, I was matched with a young boy who will be my mentee until I graduate in 2026. As his mentee, I am able to give him access to meals, activities, and experiences he wouldn’t have otherwise.

Assistant soccer coach for a youth soccer club run by two-time Women’s World Cup Champion Yang Zhou. Coached ages 4 to 12, all with different levels of soccer capabilities and experiences. Developed leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.
