  • Stabilization of acutely burned victims and competence in fluid resuscitation protocols.
  • Educate patients' family and other caretakers in ongoing burn wound care, rehabilitation, procedures and provide emotional support.
  • Independently manage mechanically ventilated patients requiring advanced respiratory support and continuous hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Titrate vasoactive medications, sedatives, analgesics, insulin infusions, and other high-risk continuous intravenous medications according to patient condition and evidence-based protocols.
  • Assisted physicians with bedside procedures including central venous catheter placement, arterial line insertion, escharotomies, intubation and bronchoscopy.
