  • After SLU
  • After I went to Southeastern, I realized it wasn’t the right time for me to go to that college. I have a passion for cooking, so I applied for the Louisiana Culinary Institute and I got accepted. I politely declined cooking school due to some medical issues I was facing. Fast forward a few years and I found myself being a stay at home Mom, and absolutely loved it, but I was craving more. I decided to take a Sped Paraprofessional position, and realized that teaching is my calling! Special education holds a special place in my heart, and I am very passionate about making safe, equal learning environments for all students. So I then enrolled in an online college, Reach University, and I am currently working on obtaining a Bachelor's degree. I cannot wait for the day that I have my own classroom, and can hopefully make a lasting impact on future students!
