In this role, I supported the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young toddlers ages 1–3. My responsibilities included assisting with age-appropriate educational activities, encouraging social and emotional development, and helping maintain a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere. I ensured each child’s well-being by closely monitoring their needs, providing comfort and guidance, and promoting a happy daily routine. I was also responsible for keeping the classroom clean, organized, and sanitary, including disinfecting toys and surfaces, managing supplies, and supporting mealtime and diapering routines. Overall, I helped foster a warm, caring environment where every child felt safe, supported, and well taken care of.

I worked as a babysitter for a family for approximately one year, caring for three children ages six through nine. I initially provided occasional babysitting for extended periods of time and quickly earned the family’s trust through reliability, strong communication, and responsible care. My responsibilities included ensuring the children were up, dressed, and prepared for school, safely getting them on and off the bus on time, and transporting them to and from activities while maintaining a consistent schedule. Due to the trust I built, I was asked to provide overnight and week-long care while the parents were away, during which I managed daily routines, light housekeeping, meals, activities, and household organization. I kept the parents regularly updated on the children’s well-being and maintained a safe, structured, and nurturing environment throughout their time away.

I worked as a host where my job was to do takeout orders over the phone along with greet and bring customers to their table. I worked as a busser where my job was to greet customers, clear and set tables along with get dessert and help servers with whatever they need. I worked as a food runner where my roles was to pack takeout orders, makes sure orders were correct and bring the food to the correct table. I also was a barback where I servered and bussed our back bar and help the bartenders with dishes, stock and whatever else they needed. I also worked as a server where I was in charge of a section of tables. I would greet them, make sure they get the drink and food they want. Help them with the menu and make sure they get the best experience they can. With all of these jobs we also had to make sure the restaurant was set up prior to opening and closed down appropriately at the end of the night.

I worked as an assistant tumbling instructor, supporting children ages 4 to 16 throughout all four years of high school. In this role, I helped create a safe, encouraging, and positive environment where children could grow, learn, and build confidence in their abilities. I assisted with teaching proper tumbling techniques and skills while emphasizing safety, correct form, and age-appropriate instruction. When needed, I stepped in to lead classes independently if the main instructor was unavailable. My focus was always on helping each child feel supported, motivated, and confident while learning new skills in a way that was both fun and safe.

I worked as a regular babysitter for one family for approximately four years, beginning when the children were ages two and four. Over time, my role grew as the family expanded, and by the end of my time with them I was caring for three children ranging in age from about four months old to seven years old. I earned the family’s trust by being dependable, responsible, and consistent, while providing safe, nurturing, and age-appropriate care. My responsibilities included managing morning routines, preparing meals, light housekeeping, safely driving the children to and from activities, and planning engaging activities that supported their development. I consistently created a secure and positive environment where the children felt comfortable, cared for, and supported.
