Lightly Interiors has provided me with an internship for this summer, 2024. Lightly Interiors is an Interior Design business that does both residential and commercial Interior Design. It is a woman-owned business run by two ladies, and I will shadow them while also giving my expertise. I will start working for them from June 2024 until August 2024.

I am the assistant to the owner and head Interior Designer of Capricho Interiors. Capricho Interiors has been a business for over twenty years, providing luxury personalized furniture, decor, and all the steps to make a home perfect. I contribute to increasing project efficiency, providing personalized design selections and solutions, and any other tasks I am requested to complete. I held this position from February to May 2024 and will be back in Lubbock to work from August to December 2024.

Kristi Severn Interiors is run by a private Interior Designer, Kristi. I was Kristi's assistant. I went to job sights, provided personal feedback for selections and designs, and assisted her with any tasks needed. I learned many skills that furthered my knowledge and prepared me for my future jobs.

I was a Restaurant Hostess at Bin 303, a local upscale restaurant. This job required me to learn how to deal with long hours of devoted concentration, how to handle high-pressure situations gracefully, and how to deal with customers properly. This prepared me in many great ways for my future jobs.
