Consistently making meaningful relationships and recruiting top level student athletes. Strong communication and personal skills in a highly competitive environment. Splice and coordinate practice and game film to assist coaches in preparation for game competitions.
• Create and implement individual development plans to ensure student-athletes’ needs are
addressed and met as they relate to academics and/or personal goals.
• In collaboration with coaches and department staff members, guide and promote the academic success of student-athletes, providing a positive atmosphere conducive to the social and academic growth of the student-athlete.
• Works with the Director of NIL to ensure our student-athletes are aware of NIL protocol, education sessions, and resources.
• Stays on top of any evolving information related to NIL and keeps staff aware of opportunities or any relevant NIL information.
• In collaboration with the Head Coach monitor and assist with the leadership program for each member of the team.
• Assists women’s Lacrosse players with goal setting and future planning for postgraduation and connects them with resources, mentors to prepare them for life after college.
• Assists in monitoring and coordinating potential community service events/programs the team can get involved in.
• Helps set up events and training sessions for student-athletes and coaching staff during pre- and post-season (sexual assault training, NIL, Maryland Made).
• Seeks out opportunities within the school system and the local area to mentor and serve youth teams and programs.
• Assist with on campus recruiting for official and unofficial visits.
• Assist in the academic development of student-athletes and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
