Awards

AP Scholar Distinction, National Grand Prizewinner of Southwest’s Repurpose with Purpose Program in 2022. The Repurpose with Purpose program partners with local schools and organizations such as Help Heal Veterans to repurpose and upcycle retired airplane materials including leather used in their seating. In 2022 my wallet design, made out of upcycled leather, was selected as the national grand prize winner. Help Heal Veterans chose to produce 12,000 my wallets and partnered with Southwest to fly me and my family out to San Diego to tour their headquarters in an all expense paid trip.
