  • Conduct daily patrol of the Miramar Air Station for abandoned and derelict vehicles.
  • Tag any vehicles found to be in violation of the Station order 5580.1 with DD-Form 2504.
  • Work with PMO Dispatchers to conduct investigations through CLETS and NCIC for the vehicles that have been tagged with DD-Form 2504 to determine the registered owner and to determine if the vehicles have valid state registration.
  • Conduct searches in our databases such as Consolidated Law Enforcement Operations Center (CLEOC), Military Online (MOL), Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), and Global Outlook for contact information, unit or place of employment on the registered owner(s).
  • Conduct phone calls to the registered owner(s) once contacted information is located and inform them that their vehicle has been tagged with an impound notice for violation of the base station order.
  • Performed a variety of clerical task to include, detailed impound reports that included dates and times that I spoke with the registered owner(s).
  • Upload all paperwork via Xerox printer to work email to attach to CLEOC report and to generate a case control number for level 4 review and approval.
  • Logbook of all impounds year to date that have been performed on the installation.
  • Perform patrol of the installation for any loose or stray animals.
  • Capture or trap any animal that is deemed to be loose and perform search for the owner.
  • Provide a warning notice to owner if located and provide documentation about the privileges and rules on owning a domestic animal.
  • Provide a bite report on any animal that is known to have bitten an individual and call San Diego County Animal services for assistance on quarantining the animal.
