Collaborated with Cuban medical resident and attending physician to survey Cuban family medicine resident views on curricula received in integrative medicine, herbals and supplements. Subsequently compared Cuban resident perspectives with those of US residents sampled previously to suggest areas of improvement for US medical education.
  • Honors Thesis, advised by Dr. S.R. Sterling, University of Colorado Boulder, 2011, 2012, Assessment of Behavioral Risk for Women's Health Conditions in Rural Nicaragua. Evaluated risk-increasing behaviors associated with high incidence of yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis in a rural Nicaraguan community in conjunction with a quality improvement project for the public health department of a local non-profit: the Health Outreach for Latin America Foundation.
