I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of capacities which have allowed me to demonstrate my strengths as a self-directed, hard working and reliable individual. I have enjoyed working in the public as well as the non-profit sectors and have gained valuable experience in volunteer relations, special event planning, program implementation, and administration.
Responsible for the development and implementation of children's multi week ski and ride camps and preschool programs. Oversee and manage the Instructor Development Program for teens. Recruit, train and supervise the Support Staff which takes care of all daily lesson management and instructor support for children's lessons.
Oversaw all aspects of the aquatics division, including but not limited to staff training, facility maintenance, budget development and monitoring, and all aquatics programs.
Responsible for the planning and implementation of several aquatics programs including swim school, multiple swim teams, adaptive aquatics, special events, and private rentals. Recruitment, hiring and training of part-time staff, as well as weekly scheduling. Budget monitoring, billing, and all retail sales were also included in my responsibilities.
Successfully taught private, semi-private and group lessons for all ability levels, including current swim team members. Helped to develop multiple private swim schools in the Davis County area.
Successfully organized and implemented the annual Kaysville City GIVES holiday campaign, working with a committee of Kaysville City employees and volunteers. Directly worked with several organizations within the community to ensure a successful campaign. The campaign had a direct impact on over 200 families and individuals throughout the community.
Fulfilled a variety of duties in both special education and general education classrooms. Daily classroom management, small group instruction, and general supervision of students.
Served as a member of the Board, specifically responsible for planning and serving as Meet Director for the 2009 Utah Masters Swimming Championship Swim Meet.
Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing quarterly special events within the Girl Scouts. Volunteer recruitment and relations was essential to this position. Annual summer day camp enrollment grew 30% while I was coordinator.
Served as a certified instructor in Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Water Safety Instructor.
