• Work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians as a part of a team to provide care veterans in a nursing/skilled care facility. Duties included providing care and documenting care in accordance with facilities protocols such as assessments, triage, giving medications, IV therapy, admissions, transfers or discharges.

Worked under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Facility Administrators to supervise nurses and nursing assistant during the evening shift. Assisted with coordinating care for clients as well as adjusting staffing requirements to meet client needs.

• Worked with approximately 28-30 patients and two nursing assistants in a local nursing home. Provided service to patients with various diagnoses under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provided services such as medication administration and monitoring of daily living skills. Communicated with doctors and the social worker as needed.
