Carrick Stevens

I have been a member of the Jr. Sharks program since 2016, and have played at the tier 1 level for most of those years. I started skating at the age of two in Canada and playing hockey by four. I have volunteered at tournaments, scorekeeper, tryouts, on ice as a coach and player/shooter. I have assisted in player development and have strong relationships with many people around the rink. During the past season I was chosen as captain of my 16 AAA team and also led them in points. I was also an all around leader on my High School team as I led the team in points and helped the coaches with making different decisions. I volunteered in the Summer Hockey School Camp for the past two years and the players seemed to like me as a coach while also still respecting me as an authority figure. I would like to continue this work and help young athletes reach their potential on and off the ice. This will also be great experience as I prepare myself for college.
