Checked in patients and confirmed registration information.
Maintained accurate records of insurance and prescription cards in EPIC system.
Verify insurance eligibility daily for scheduled patients and complete check in and check out processes including handling payments, making follow up appointments and managing patients recall.
Ensure all required documents are prepared for appointments.
Review and manage CC charts, RX responses, my chart messages and other follow ups from all providers or patients.
Direct calls to appropriate providers or create a telephone encounter for team to review.
Make reminder calls for upcoming appointments and send reminder letters or messages as needed.
Prepare next day morning, huddle materials and the provider's schedules.
Print daily reports of ER or hospital admissions to arrange follow-up and communicate with the appropriate provider and team for review.
Proficient in electronic health records (EPIC), Artera, Microsoft and Tiger.
Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain patient confidentiality, able to multitask can handle a variety administration tasks and patient facing responsibilities.
