CARRIE DONHAM

I am a career public educator with 30 years of experience. In seeking a new position while transitioning from this career into retirement a remote position would be more suitable. This is due to the inability to relocate. The skills learned in 30 years of teaching will be an asset and very useful. and I would be very excited to learn any new skills needed.

• Some of my passions include reading, crafting, and gardening. I’ve used these passions to research programs for my students, make costumes for these programs, find music and edit music for the programs, as well as choreograph these programs for my students. I’ve also used them to create and complete a science unit for plants, as well as using plant life to help my students understand the world around them. As an educator I believe that I need to reach further so not to remain stagnant. I’ve tried to be part of committees, student lead food drives, and additional certifications such as ESL and math and reading academies. With this I believe this expands my repertoire and keeps me from being closed-minded. I also participated in Google Workspace seminars to further my knowledge of these products. This helped expand my abilities in my current position. It has also helped me as I run my digital product business.
