Carrie Hutchison

Work primarily uniform patrol and currently utilized to help with livability missions in the downtown Central Precinct Area. I'm also a Field Training Officer coaching new hires through the five different phases, helping recruits as they learn/develop the skills to become a successful patrol officer.

Working primarily undercover in a small unit that utilizes informants, evidence funds, multiple hours of different surveillance techniques, writing affidavits, court orders and search warrants to culminate mid to long term drug investigations. I also have experience in the tactical planning and the execution of these search warrants.

I worked primarily at the Portland District Office and utilized partnerships with outside agencies in long-term federal investigations. I was able to participate in four wiretap investigations and gained experience in writing a federal affidavits, court orders and search warrants. During these Federal investigations, I helped direct surveillance missions with multiple outside agencies, based on electronic intel received during these investigations. i also have experience in the tactical planning and execution of these federal warrants.

Worked undercover on a daily basis dealing with drug related activities in the core downtown area.

Worked primarily as a partner district car focusing on houseless youth and young adults in accordance with NAFY & Outside In.
