Provide rapid triage, assessment, and stabilization for patients of all ages in a low resource emergency setting. Manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and medical emergencies with high autonomy. Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, splinting, and emergency interventions. Coordinate transfers and communicate with EMS, providers, and receiving facilities. Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, lab draws, and basic respiratory support. Maintain documentation accuracy, safety standards, and patient education in a rural high-acuity environment.
Provide direct patient care including vital signs, bathing, toileting, mobility assistance, and daily living support. Perform EKGs glucose checks, specimen collection, and basic medical tasks under RN supervision. Assist with admissions, discharges, transport and patient comfort needs. Maintain clean, safe patient environments and ensure accurate documentation. Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff and support multidisciplinary care. PCT in various units in hospital from MedSurg, ICU, Stepdown, Hospice, Hematology and Oncology.
