I am a hard worker who is very much missing working in a classroom.
*Maintaining medical and educational records for clients from several programs housed at ACCA. Including requesting records from outside clinics and facilities, sending out records as requested, and inputting visit information from ACCA providers.
*Billing medicaid eligible visits. Proofing provider notes to confirm eligibility, maintaining detailed records of billed and paid invoices, and submitting data to the State of Alaska for compliance.
* Greeting the public as the front desk of ACCA as well as the main line for the telephone. Providing excellent customer service to answer questions and connect people with the appropriate services for their needs.
*Loan Closet- helping community members access loaned mobility equipment and maintaining records and equipment for the program.
* Title 1 Teaching Assistant, working primarily with students in grades 5-8.
*Independently instructing phonics intervention groups that met daily and saw great improvement in over all reading scores.
*Proctoring tests for students that required small group environments for testing.
*Substitute teaching as needed.
*Daily work with special education students with a variety of needs.
*Working as a bartender and waitress while managing a staff of approximately 15 people.
*Regular tasks included scheduling, banquet planning, hiring and training of new staff, handling customer concerns and staff conflicts, and overall quality control.
*Multitasking in an extremely fast paced environment.
*In home care for and elderly couple, with the wife having dementia and the husband having health issues to include a leg amputation.
*Daily duties included; administering medications, bathroom and bathing assistance, transportation and assistance with medical appointments, meal preparation, and basic housekeeping.
*Caring for residents with varying degrees of physical and cognitive impairments, specializing in dementia care in my final year there.
* Administering medications, bathroom and bathing assistance, dressing, wound care, colostomy care, catheter care, feeding assistance- including special dietary needs, vital signs and UTI testing, deescalation.
