• Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio(2022): underwent comprehensive training and shadowing to prepare for my role as a Match Specialist Program intern. I facilitated matches between "littles" and "bigs," conducting assessments and ensuring positive connections. I also conducted outreach at Toledo Public Elementary Schools, creating and delivering presentations on various topics and creating engaging social media flyers to promote community interest and recruit new members.
• YWCA (Youth Development Department)(2023) assisting and shadowing, I progressed to independently conducting presentations on topics including peer pressure, bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, and Sex Education. I administered questionnaires and surveys to students, using the collected data to inform insights and trends related to the issues addressed. This internship equipped me with hands-on experience in youth development, education, and data collection, fostering significant personal and professional growth in the field.
