As a dedicated professional with a unique blend of experience in both wildland firefighting and mechanical engineering, bringing a highly organized and collaborative approach to the workplace. Background built as a senior firefighter and an engineering student has honed proficiencies in analytical problem-solving, skills that have been applied effectively in dynamic and challenging environments. Acted in leader ship roles for teams, both in the field of firefighting and in academic projects, which underscores capabilities in project management, fostering teamwork, and driving projects to successful completion. Undergrad mechanical engineering helped to develop a strong proficiency in practical testing methodologies and programming numerical algorithms, particularly for handling large data sets and robotics controls. This combination of practical field experience and technical acumen creates a unique position for contributing effectively in a team-oriented, problem-solving capacity.

• Mechatronic design competition: Participated and placed second in a robotics competition. Competition included prototyping an entire robot to compete head to head in a block sorting competition.
• Senior design project: Worked under two Post-doc students to design a light white Tethersonde that utilizes a thermal anemometer for boundary layer analysis of the Earth's surface. Tested the performance and accuracy of a thermal anemometer for air speed detection in the University wind tunnel. Wrote protocols for the use constraints and freedoms this device provides to the user.
