At WGC I was able to become more familiar with the residential side of construction. Being involved in jobs such as full kitchen and bath remodels, deck construction, and ground up construction. Common task completed at WGC consist of:

• Form and pour concrete
• Framing
• Hang and Fishing Sheetrock
• Tile Installation
• Trimwork
• Light Plumbing and Electrical
• Painting
• Door and Window Installation
• Etc.

Steve Ayers Construction was a commercial GC i had the opportunity to work for. There i was able to learn the commercial side of general contracting. Being apart of projects such as Mariott Marquis I & II Column Renovation, assisting mechanical contractors for underground utility construction, and general tenant buildouts. Common tasks there included:

• Metal Framing
• Sheetrock Hang and Finishing
• Trimwork
• Acoustical Ceiling Installations

I worked at McKenney's Inc. while attending Kennesaw State for Mechanical Engineering. At McKenneys i had the opportunity to be apart of some very interesting projects such as CHOA Support Buildings, Phipps Plaza, T-Mobile Data Center and Facebook Data Center in Social Circle. There i would assist Project Managers and Field Superintendents. Day to Day task consisted of:

• Drawing Mark-up and Takeoff
• Communicating with vendor and Writing POs
• Writing Change Orders
• Performing Three Week Look Ahead meetings and communicating with foreman where they stood in regards to schedule and budget.
• Assist PM with Cost Analysis updates
• Became familiar with Procore and Bluebeam processes
