  • I also ran the Caterpillar wheel loader to haul bales, but i had to make sure I took safety precautions because you were able to put more bales on the spears than the counterweight of the wheel loader could handle so the rear of the wheel loader could actually lift up.
  • I ran a 8420 john deere front wheel assist tractor to spread manure in the field out of the cattle yard, I needed to understand what buttons controlled what so that way I didnt plug the spreaders of the manure spreader which couldve sheared pins on the PTO.
  • If i had to do maintainence on any piece of machinery, it was jobs such as motor work, oil changes, greasing the machinery, tire repair, fluids and filters, air cleaners, and keeping interior and extorior clean for a clean working environment.
  • I also opporated skid loaders that were both tire and track machines completing tasks such as leveling, dirt yards, driveways, lanes, loading feed waggons, loading manure spreaders, pulling fence posts, driving fence posts in to the ground, while other workers were present, and I also scraped cattle yards while being cautious around livestock.

  • I completed thorough daily pre- trip inspections on my tractor before I clocked in, and I also did a pre- trip inspection on all of the trailers that I hooked to before moving.
  • I became very familiar with backing in trailers on both my driver and passenger side into tight, awkward spaces with semi's on both sides of me.
  • I had to come in contact with upset customers and drivers of which then I would report it to the current manager on the clock when I was on the clock. If there was not a manager readily available I was able to handle it in a calm and effective manner.
  • The trailers I was hooking on to varied from a 48 foot van trailer to a 53 foot van trailer.
  • I have operated a tractor trailer in various weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, fog.
  • When I hooked on to a trailer I would always pull ahead to make sure my king pin was locked in to place by doing a tug test every time.
  • In the winter when the trailer breaks would freeze up i would have to get under the truck and brake loose the the breaks from the drums.
