
As a pre-service teacher candidate, I view myself as an enthusiastic and reflective future educator who is passionate about the impact physical education can have on students’ lives. I believe PE is more than teaching skills. I think it is about promoting confidence, teamwork, and healthy lifelong habits. I am eager to bring positive energy, creativity, and a strong work ethic to my student teaching experience. One of my key strengths is the ability to connect with students through encouragement and support. I value creating an inclusive environment where every student feels comfortable trying new activities, regardless of their ability level. My background in physical education has provided me with strategies to adapt lessons so that all students can experience success. I also bring a reflective mindset and willingness to learn. My coursework and field experiences have shown me the importance of evaluating my teaching, adjusting, and collaborating with others to improve student learning. I see student teaching as an opportunity not only to share my skills, but also to grow by learning from my cooperating teachers and students. Overall, I bring passion, adaptability, and a growth-oriented mindset to this experience.
