The Olympos Trials was a first person shooter game developed by a team of 18 people over the course of a year while I was at Shawnee State University. The objective is to fight through hoards of enemies while they collect weapons and completing small objectives that unlocks a boss fight at the end. The game has a heavy focus on elemental cores that the player can collect to augment their weapons and gameplay with each having a unique effect. I worked on the weapon systems team, implementing the weapons and weapon cores, creating their drop systems, creating the weapon inventory system. I also assisted assisted artists in implementing a dynamically changing textures based on the element of the final boss.
