  • Job responsibilities entailed communication with both customers (retailers) and foreign vendors (including daily communication and on-location work with factories in Asia to manage new product development.)
  • Concepting and design processes included market and customer related research; line assortment planning and merchandising; detailed concept illustration (including dimension, color, and materials specifications;) new materials sourcing; CAD file review and hands-on work with vendors to create product meeting pricing and quality goals.
  • Additionally, managed a team of designers to produce marketing and presentation materials.
  • I was also responsible for the creation of all marketing materials, brand strategy and artifacts, online presence and point of sale concepts.
