• Conducted several individual and group therapy sessions daily at a day treatment center which is called the 911 program.
• MHP carefully worked to establish rapport with each individual client due to the specific population that was being treated in this program.
• Reviewed all documents sent from the State Hospital in order to create a new treatment plan. Client's had been slowly transitioning to this program with intentions of obtaining/maintaining stability and in time independent living.
• Attended weekly staffing meetings in order to discuss client's overall functioning, progress that had been made and steps to intervene with if regression was beginning to show.
• Identified, practiced, and reinforced specific coping strategies for each client to improve management of mental health.
• Provided supervision to assigned QBHP's once weekly for an hour to address ethics, concerns, competency, and possible issues.

Worked with a team of individuals that helped determine which schools, Doctors clinics, day care facilities, etc. were in need of assistance which could be offered.

MHP would go out to each place for a scheduled meeting to share what services could be offered. Worked closely with the staff to ensure needs were being met.

MHP presented small presentations pertaining to specific environmental issues as well as DSM criteria for prominent disorders being treated.

• Provided psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, school, and home settings.
• Conducted individual, family and group therapy as well as psychoeducation to assist with various mental health diagnosis.
• Provided psychological assessments, diagnosing, treatment planning, prior authorizations, treatment plan reviews, progress updates for primary care physicians, and consultations with Psychiatrist. Completion of documentation on various computer programs.
• Assisted school staff with crisis situations pertaining to students and clients.
• Participated and collaborated in treatment team meetings. Arranged and assisted clients in participating in group therapy programs. Trained to deal with violent clients.
• Developed and ran a school based after school and summer program for 9 years.
• Worked together with other professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, mental health paraprofessionals and school staff to provide proper treatment to clients.
• Maintained responsibility for the emergency on call phone.
