Accomplishments

  • Over the course of four months, I was the lead point person for revising, rewriting and auditing the standard operating procedures throughout the Kaneka North America Modifiers production unit. The SOPs had been very neglected in prior years and due to an upcoming audit I was selected by management because of my knowledgeable experience throughout all units in the Modifiers Division and my goal oriented work ethic.
  • Appointed 3rd party contractor on walking out and verifying P&IDs throughout the Modifier Production unit for a Mechanical Integrity Project
  • Assisted in the start up of a new product grade. From dissolving chemicals into various vessels, processing the batch in reactors, to the final stages of loading product into ISO trailers.
  • Oversaw maintenance during a three week shutdown working in direct coordination with the maintenance coordinator, engineering department and operations.
