1. Plans, assigns, monitors, reviews and supervises the work of custodians assigned to the site.

2. Instructs, advises and demonstrates work methods, practices and procedures for completing job assignments and to assist in the training of site custodians.

3. Advises custodial staff of work-site and district policies and procedures related to the job assignments and enforces safety rules and regulations.

4. Conducts spot inspections to ensure site is with standards.

5. Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports as required.

6. Ensures adequate supplies are available for use.

7. Performs minor or routine maintenance on custodial equipment.

1. Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.

2. Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures.

3. Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.

4. Keeping buildings free from indoor pests.

5. Maintaining cleaning equipment.

6. Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.

7. Collaborating with contract cleaning services.

8. Employee training and consultation.

1. Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces

2. Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets

3. Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)

4. Wipe mirrors and windows

5. Maintain outer premises by watering plants, mowing lawn, cleaning entrances

6. Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests

7. Perform maintenance and minor repairs (replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc.)

1. Dusting, cleaning, and polishing furniture, fixtures, and fittings

2. Applying necessary chemicals and solvents to surfaces in order to easily and effectively remove stain and dirt

3. Complying with all safety policies and procedures that are related to carrying out cleaning tasks

4. Carrying out cleaning duties with the aid of necessary equipment

5. Taking and handling special requests for clients or customers as required appropriately

6. Executing general labor activities for special projects such as painting, furniture movement, and other assignments as required

7. Carefully handling and operating all cleaning machinery according to protocol
