I have always been fascinated by the human experience, and intrigued by the inner workings of the human mind. As a psychology undergraduate, I have had the opportunity to explore the many facets of this field, from clinical to behavioral I have explored all areas of the field to figure out where my true interests lie.
Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to work as a behavioral research assistant on campus, helping to run and analyze working memory data collection. This experience has been fundamental for me, as it has provided me with a network of new skills such as the ability to create code in RStudio, consent human subjects and clean data, and create concise post analyses.
While doing this I have been working as a bartender full time at the world famous Sink. This role has allowed me to work on the clinical part of psychology. Working in the food industry allows me to constantly work on my interpersonal skills while also perfecting my social empathy, organizational skills, and team leadership abilities.
In my downtime, I thoroughly enjoy reading and enjoying the greenery of colorful Colorado. As a fourth-year undergraduate, I have been focused on writing my honors thesis which I hope to eventually get published after defending in April of 2024.
