I have Achieved significant advancements in healthcare education and staff development. I am looking forward to growing with a company who's values I share and who I can appropriately represent.
Built relationships with department respiratory therapists, both new hires, and seasoned employees. Coordinated training, access, certifications, competency records, gave hospital tours, coordinated respiratory therapy residency on a corporate scale, recorded educational videos, created educational content such as job aides and protocols, and also worked clinically at the bedside performing direct patient care in adult ICU, pediatric floor, Emergency Department, and medical floors. I attended regular conferences to continue growing my knowledge in different areas, including adult critical care conferences, emergency medicine conferences, AARC, and local NBRC conferences. I also obtained my Simulation Facilitator training to officially run simulation for healthcare providers in a professional setting, to include RT's, RN's, residents, and physicians. Recognized the need for advanced education with medical equipment and devices and contacted service representatives for those areas to coordinate in-service education for staff. Coordinated staff meetings, skills labs, pediatric updates, and Respiratory Residency programs throughout the corporation. Contacted applicants for hire, assisted in recruiting eligible staff members, and ran career fairs for both local high schools and colleges. Represented Intermountain Health, specifically Respiratory Therapy, during such career fairs and conferences. Performed screening of applicants, reviewed resumes, performed phone and in-person interviews. I created a weekly "huddle" board for any pertinent information that needed to go out to staff regarding changes and updates with equipment, safety alerts, kudos to staff, and deadlines.
