Project-superintendent
8 Years- Hired to work as a journey carpenter in August of 2018 and worked for 2.5 years in the field.
- Promoted to superintendent in August 2021 to lead the renovation project in the sterile processing department at St. Alexius in Hoffman Estates.
- Since, have managed multiple projects, including the ED renovation in Hoffman Estates, Riverside addition in Coal City, Riverside 3rd floor buildout in Bourbonnais, and currently am overseeing the Behavioral Health renovation at RMC in Kankakee.
- Responsibilities include direct interaction with the clients and staff, scheduling subcontractors and self-perform work, developing and adhering to schedules, training carpenters and laborers on-site, managing and actively improving the safety of all workers on the jobsite.
Project Superintendent
10 Years 8 Months- Hired as a carpenter apprentice and was trained in all aspects of commercial construction. Worked on many occupied space renovations including high-rise office buildouts in Chicago, data centers, restaurants, and test laboratory facilities.
- Promoted to project superintendent in my 3rd year to manage the interior renovation of an active Associated Bank branch in Gurnee, IL
- Additional projects managed include interior renovations for a financial firm at 515 N. State St in Chicago, travel agency at 200 N. Martingale in Schaumburg, Nordstrom Rack stores at Old Orchard Mall and Crocker Park mall near Cleveland, Oh.
- Performed mainly as working superintendent doing the daily tasks as a carpenter while managing the projects.
- Oversaw daily construction operations and project timelines.
- Coordinated subcontractor activities with building facilities teams.
