  • I also worked alongside our maintenance and process department closely so was able to troubleshoot problem areas of our presses and know who to call when a problem arose and try to get it fixed promptly so there wasn't a lot of downtime, paperwork to track hourly count, what material was being ran, serial numbers, what level the paperwork was(7.0,8.0,etc) it depended on the updates, verify If the work instruction book matched the process that was supposed to be running on the press, each press had a board that had to be filled out every hour with the rate(parts per hour),what process was being ran, what the hourly rate was set at, the tool number, date, press number, and how many operators that particular tool would take to run it efficiently for the hourly rate expected. I also had to make sure the operators all had their PPE(safety equipment which consisted of the right kind of gloves, correct safety glasses, bump caps, ear plugs), and also the adequate and correct tools or materials to do the job.
