Cassandra Diane Matton

Summary

With a solid foundation as a regular MDS, I quickly advanced to the role of trainer, where I played a crucial part in onboarding new employees and ensuring their familiarity with station operations and adherence to process procedures. Expanding on this experience, I then assumed the responsibility of being a line captain, overseeing scheduling, station rotations, and working directly on the line. Additionally, I closely collaborated with technicians to address machine issues and worked alongside the engineering team to find effective solutions for major scrap issues. Throughout it all, my focus has always been on fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment while consistently striving for excellence within our processes.

ALL ABOUT ME & MY STORY

ALL ABOUT ME & MY STORY
  • I'm twenty-seven, happily married with four children. I love animals and have one cat, two turtles and some fish. I enjoy music, doing family things with my kids like zoo trips, vacation trips on family getaways. And just doing new things and making memories every day.
  • My story is I started as a temp and worked my way to becoming hired permanently in March. Being a part of Boston really made me nervous because saving lives was amazing but worrying about if ill mess up/doubt myself scared me. The more I worked and learned the more I realized how important and how big a difference we are to the world, to the people, to the families we help. It showed me the real importance of everything that takes place in Boston. Becoming a mds was important to me, making me feel like what I did mattered I just wanted to do more to help, I offered to volunteer to help start up the second shift on isleeve.
  • I accepted the offer to become a trainer along with being the line captain. I liked how the supervisor Linda sterner would challenge me to be the best I can be with what I had to work with, which was having5 people to run a2nd shift line from2pm-10pm without any knowledge of being a trainer let alone a line captain, but I agreed.
  • I would place our team best I could many times id run shift while running3-4 stations at one time just to try to keep the production flowing get things moving. Also, to make some progress I admit it was difficult, but I worked hard every day to show her what she had invested in me.
  • That I wouldn't let her down or my team down. Now I'm looking to explore more opportunities that i can do more to help people in need of help,, no matter the job it will be.
  • I’m a very hard worker and eager learner!
