Leadership Experience

Throughout all four years of high school I was involved in a lot of different activities such as color guard in the marching band. For the first two years I was in NJROTC. In both extracurricular activities I gained skills of working with other students as well as being able to help other people in the organization. From middle school to high school and even a summer after high school, I worked as a counselor in training and a junior counselor. As a CIT and a JC my job was to help the main camp counselors with the kids. We helped do different activities with the kids and learn how to become an actual camp counselor. We learned how to interact with the parents as well as the kids and the counselors. All these different activities have allowed me the opportunity to work with kids to adults and be available to help them. I am also currently involved in NSSHLA at ENMU and am also the student representative for NSSHLA and for NMSHA.
