Enthusiastic and friendly individual experienced in working in a professional setting, skilled at organizing, able to work well with others and receive direction. Current college student finishing up freshman year.
Throughout all four years of high school, I regularly worked for an elderly lady once a week. I typically cleaned and organized her home for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. My duties included vacuuming, making beds, cleaning, scooping kitty litter, picking up mail, and yard work, among other tasks.
As a Senate Page, I was assigned to the Transportation Committee where I was responsible for setting up for the committee, working for the Committee Chairman and the Committee Secretary daily, signing in the public who came to testify during the hearings, and passing out agendas around the Capitol building for the upcoming hearings. I also sat in the committee hearings to be of help to the committee's members and provide some technical support. In addition, I was also responsible for keeping legislative bill books up to date daily. The main job that I had was sitting in all the legislative sessions and assisting the senators during the debates by passing out material, running errands for them, and delivering things to them. Finally, I did many other odd jobs for the senators and staff throughout the work day, including small errands, filling in for secretaries, and making many deliveries.
I love to spend time outdoors in both the winter and summer. I especially enjoy hiking and skiing in the mountains. I love to read in my free time, play the piano and sing, and also do a little photography.
