A seasoned professional with a strong attention to detail. I am currently looking to transition from a remote to an in-office position. Forward thinking and friendly with talent in multiple aspects in a dental office. I have a strong desire to take on new challenges along with a strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
In my role as a patient services specialist, I processed financial assistance applications for a network of Nine hospitals. I collected all necessary documents to process each application, made determination on eligibility, contacted patients if they were missing documentation. I adjusted balances, reviewed coordination of benefits, updated insurances and requested rebilling as needed.
Throughout my years of owning Dudley Trucking, I started completing all the general office sending contract and insurance binders to vendors and customers, processing payroll and ensuring all FMCSA requirements were kept up to date. As Dudley Trucking grew, I handled employee hiring, employee files, benefits and payroll. I also obtained my class A license and would fill in driving when employees were out sick and or on vacations and in the last two years of ownership, I took over all operations along with driving full-time until I decided to change careers.
In my role of a Dental Assistant, I was responsible for greeting patients, taking necessary dental radiographs, assisting the dentist in completing dental procedures, completing patient charts for proper insurance billing and maintain a sterile procedure room. I also helped cover the front desk from time to time answering phones and welcoming patients to the office.
As a direct care professional I helped care for children while in state custody in a group home setting. I cared for the children meeting their daily needs in all aspects. I completed progress reports, cooked and cleaned for them. I attended school meetings as well as DHHS meetings to talk about goals, progress and next steps.
