I was part of the Fargo Moorhead Acro Team from age 11 to age 18, while being part of recreational gymnastics from ages 6 to 11. I tried out for the acro team when i was 11 making the team. It is a performance acrobatic and gymnastics team that travels around the country and performs at half times for basketball games of high school, NCAA and NBA. This team is affiliated with American Gold Gymnastics where i currently coach as well. While on this team i learned discipline, leadership skills, and teamwork. Being on this team for as long as i was gave me professional manners at a young age that have grown with me today and i also made lifelong friendships being on this team. We practiced multiple days a week for multiple hours working on our show to perfect it for our half time shows. This team was a big part of my life that helped form me into the person i am today and it is one of my biggest accomplishments, considering the amount of people that have been on the team and that it started in the late 70's not that many people have made it all the way through senior year on the team, i was lucky enough to power through it even with my injuries and was the 153rd gymnast to make it all the way through when i graduated in 2019.
