I began babysitting at the age of 15. Since then, I have been promoted to Manager at a drop-in childcare facility where I led the summer camp for two years. Summer camps included field trips, crafts, games, and fun snacks. I then moved and began work at an After School Program where I also assisted with summer camp activities. Currently, I am the PTO President (2 years) at the local Elementary School that my children attend. I am also the Troop leader for our Girl Scout troop of our community. We are a military family with 3 children, and I am currently working from home as a medical scribe. I have always been very reliable at my previous jobs and taken on leadership roles often. I keep very organized in my day-to-day tasks and enjoy admin type work.
I enjoy doing volunteer work throughout the communities of which the military brings me.
I am currently serving as the Southwest Elementary School PTO President (2 years). My duties include, but are not limited to: Oversee the work of the officers and committees of the PTO to promote community, fundraising and volunteerism. Create meeting agendas and facilitate PTO and board meetings.
Alongside the PTO, I am also a leader of a local Girl Scout Troop (2 years). My duties include, but are not limited to: mentor a local group of Girl Scouts as they discover new skills, make lifelong friends, and have fun changing the world. As part of a troop's volunteer team, Troop Leaders set the troop's schedule, plan and facilitate regular troop meetings, and connect with the local Girl Scout community.
