Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments on patients with various respiratory conditions.
Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans based on patient needs.
Administer therapeutic treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
Provide advanced respiratory care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and emergency department (ED).
Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
Manage mechanical ventilation, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation modalities.
Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parameters and arterial blood gases.
Insert and monitor arterial lines.
Perform bedside tests such as pulmonary function tests and EKGs.
Recovering post operation open heart patients and practicing rapid weaning protocols.
Work effectively in fast-paced environments.
Respond to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and airway obstruction, with prompt and effective interventions, following established protocols and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation of respiratory assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMRs)
