Tested moisture, ash, and sulfur content, as well as BTU/lb for each coal sample collected from each LG&E powerplant using thermogravimetric analyzers (TGAs), a sulfur analyzer, and isoperibol calorimeters.
Designed and painted a mural that incorporated lab and chemistry concepts as well as environmental aspects, highlighting the interconnectedness of lab-like workplaces and the natural world.
