Worked under the personal guidance of patient's son whom she lived with. She had experienced two strokes roughly six months prior to me caring for her.

Responsibilities were as follows:

• Assisted her in bathing, eating, and toileting(ADL). I observed her physical therapy sessions in the home and assisted in her practice on days her therapist did not come. I also provided services such as food prep, laundry, transporting, and companionship.
• Facilitated communication among family to strengthen support network; patient had 14 adult children. I built rapport and relationships with each family member I had met while caring for their mother.
• Deliver medical care and support to geriatric patients, including mobility exercises and supervising physical therapy sessions.
• Plan and organize a variety of entertainment activities designed to stimulate the brain and memory for residents with Alzheimer's or other dementia
• Assisted patients during mobility transitions for safety and comfort to ensure safe transfers from bed to mobility devices and from seated to standing
• Helped clients maintain cleanliness and organization in their homes with the maintenance and sanitation of their homes

• I worked for an in-home Alzheimer's and dementia care company. I was responsible for traveling to patients' homes, feeding, bathing, assuring their medications were taken, and providing companionship.
